Oxford, MS – The Mulligan Concept™ Upper Quadrant Course

MCTA Upper Quarter Course

This two-day course will present the Mulligan Concept approach to manual therapy for the Cervical Spine, Headache, Thoracic Spine, Ribs, Hip, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, and Hand.

Continuing Education Credits for this course include: 

  • OTs will receive a certificate of attendance for 1.6 CEUs education level – Intermediate Category 1: PD activity approval ID #7364 

AOTA Approved Providor

  • ATs will receive a certificate of attendance for 13 CEUs from the NATA Board of Certification CEU Provider #P3566

  • PTs will receive a certificate of attendance documenting 13 CEUs from the individual state’s governing Board of Physical Therapy. (an official state approval course number will be included when available) 

Description

Spinal and Peripheral Manual Therapy Treatment Techniques For The Upper Quadrant

This two-day in-person course will include lectures, patient demonstrations, and ample lab time. Participants will receive in-depth teaching that highlights the use of Mobilization With Movement™.

This unique approach to manual therapy was discovered and developed by Brian Mulligan F.N.Z.S.P. (Hon), Dip. M.T. from Wellington, New Zealand. This simple yet effective manual approach addresses musculoskeletal disorders using pain-free manual therapy forces within the treatment plane of a joint to promote restoration of ROM, function, and abolition of pain.
